I suspect this has no votes because it is not true. You can scroll all day and there is still no Restore option. The Restore button was at the top of the recoverable items list and disappears when a search is conducted. This is an egregious bug. Look for my entry for the problem, which describes it correctly.

I also discovered that the email address entry fields will match bad addresses from email you sent (that didn't get delivered) even though the address is not associated with a contact. In the attempt to make it smart and hide details, they broke it. I kept seeing a contact name in the match list and selecting it. None of the email went through. Turned out I had sent email to that contact with a bad email address which I later corrected in the contacts database. It was still matching the bad address I sent even though the contact had a different address. I finally noticed that there were multiple entries for the contact, but only one of them was from my contact database. It somehow includes addresses you have sent to even though they are not contacts, but it presents them by the contact name rather than the email address.

Same thing in the Settings Search box. Match lists won't go away when you click off. Covers everything up that you need.

"We’re looking at whether we can support this."?
AYFKM? How could Microsoft have chosen a platform that didn't have the ability to support such a popular feature, if not a basic requirement? What did they think they were going to do with outlook.com? What is just supposed to be some entry level toy for kids to play with? Were they caught off guard by it's sudden popularity?
Seriously, Microsoft, what was the original intention for outlook.com? It is so featureless, powerless, and uncompetitive that it is very hard to see how it could have been an important member of the Microsoft 365 sphere. Are we misusing it? Were we not supposed to migrate to the cloud? Were you afraid it would eat into their fat client profits?
