One alternative is to subscribe to iCloud calendar with your Exchange/O365 email accounts or any Outlook account, and then sync the same accounts in Outlook for Mac. See details:

Thanks to 3rdparty-tool sync-mate I was able to sync the local iCal on my Mac to Outlook Web and from Outlook Web it is syncing to Outlook for Mac.
