Outlook with Exchange Server has had a feature for years which allows me to set an expiration time for my outgoing messages.

This would do one of 2 things for my recipients:

If they had not yet opened it, it would delete itself from their inbox, presumably because the sender knew it would no longer be relevant after a certain time (e.g. donuts in the kitchen).

If they had opened it prior to the sender’s set expiration time, then the message would go gray and cross itself out in their inbox or mail folder.

Some messages I would be more free in sending if I knew I could make them less of a burden for people.

    Thank you,
    Tim

I would like to be able to draft a message and then be able to schedule it to send my message to my intended recipient at a later time.

This is different from the current Snooze and Scheduled feature which allows me to have someone else’s message to me reappear in my inbox at a later time.

I’m talking about my outgoing message staying in my Drafts or Outbox until a time for release to my message’s destination recipient(s).

    Thank you,
    Tim

In your consideration of this, please include revamping the icon list of accounts on the left of the menu.

I currently have 4 circles with ugly colors that all say T. That’s not useful.

Why should I have to memorize your list of order for my accounts just to know which is which?

I’ve turned off conversation view because your implementation of that feature makes it hard to find specific messages.

I just want to go to the Sent folder for a specific account, and it’s so many steps to figure out how to do that simple thing in Outlook for iOS/iPadOS.

Just to clarify, we’re not just asking to be able to schedule an email for a custom time, which we can do now, but to be able to customize the preset times that we would use often.

For some of us, our day starts earlier than 8 AM.

    Thank you!

Having a side panel showing a month or 2 of calendar dates would also be useful.

And by selecting, I meant opening.

I think I figured out why. With the unread filter turned on, it is indeed helpful to have emails not mark as read right away.

In the Inbox or Archive view with no filter turned on, this is not as helpful.

Could you make them mark as read instantly on opening when no filter is turned on?

    Thank you!

Outlook has started only marking a message as read after I leave the message, instead of when I open it. This seems like it is a change, and I don’t think it is for the better.

Please change it back so that messages instantly mark as read as soon as I open them.

    Thank you,
    Tim

Why is it that I reply to a sent message with Reply, it goes to me (which I don’t want), and if I reply with Reply All, it goes to the original recipient (which I do want)?

This gets people in the habit of using Reply All which is generally not preferred or helpful.

    Thank you

If I click on a link in a message, Safari opens and I leave Outlook.

When I go back to Outlook, the message is still open, but it’s scrolled to the top. This happens every time I click a link in an email. For long newsletters, this is especially unproductive.

Is this an iOS limitation, or can you do something about this?

    Thank you

Having an option to decide which parts of an account I want to use in Outlook for iOS would be useful.

I added iCloud only for the Contacts, but now I have to read mail there as well.

    Thank you

Or rename them for other places like Microsoft Flow, too.
