I spent 4 hours over 3 days - probably more actually to be told from support that this is "working as designed". The problem came up after moving from macbook to windows machine. To have a contact list (people) which the email client (Outlook) does not reference is completely insane. So even though I have hundreds of contacts in my address book, unless I have already sent an email to them autofill comes up blank when typing a new email address - meaning I have to search for their email address and paste it in to the to or cc field - or go through some other completely daft process within the outlook address book to try to find the contact. I have three email accounts within outlook and not having all three of them be able to access the people address book is so frustrating. It looks like the people who design this stuff dont actually understand how many users actually use the product.
Please fix this issue ASAP - it costs me so much time. I am currently looking to use if there is an outlook replacementTony Day supported this idea ·
