Outlook for Mac is totally broken for more than 2 years because product team ignore this basic request. Is anyone at MSFT listening - we need configurability on mail retention and we NEED to see all or a set we choose of old emails. Its ridiculous I have to use my Windows box to look up an email just to reply to it via the mac. This worries me the product team is not focused on Outlook and Apple culture is deteriorating. If not the case great, but its nearly 3 YEARS the customer base has been begging and nothing ever changes. It could cause me to revert to windows, and it also makes me recommend as a sol architect to clients to use outlook o365 always since using Mac for the same thing cripples your workflow. Cmon guys,.

This is a basic, desperately required feature and should be in the product and makes zero sense it's not there. It's simple to implement. I can't even find old emails in my Mac I have to use my windows PC. It shows the old email addresses in cache when it try to write to them, but if use the search option it literally doesnt locate anything and outlook can't seen any mail past about 2-3 months. It's totally unacceptable that I have to RDP to my Windows box just to check older emails. PLEASE add this feature to mac its hard to believe this situation still exists 2 YEARS after it was been heavily reported. Organisations with IMAP services are completely crippled by this configuration. I want all my mail and I want to be able to search on old mails. I will archive as needed. I don't need training wheels on outlook for goodness sakes.
