Disappointed to found out normal search behaviour is not working for shared mailboxes connected via default settings. (Automapping + cache shared mailboxes). A support ticket at Microsoft acknowledged this is a 'known issue'.

Amazed to see there are only 40 votes for this request, while there are more than 135000 views and 105 replies at the tech community about this issue:

For now I had to apply the workaround to disable caching for shared mailboxes, hoping Outlook will keep performing and won't stop responding.. keep my fingers crossed. :-s

Need this option for improved security and to protect my customers.

Please vote, since the workaround below is not suitable for accounts protected with MFA.

Current workaround is to add it as additional account (via File -> Add account), as opposed to adding it as additional mailbox or using automapping. (Thanks to Vasil Michev)

    NEW AND AVAILABLE NOW.
Outlook ONLINE now has the option to hide attendees :-) !!
New event -> Response options -> Hide attendee list.

Somehow MS did not mention this in updates (yet). But I tested this succesfully with O365,Hotmail and Gmail.
