I had a long, complicated email saved in my 'Drafts' folder. I opened it to edit it. As soon as I tried to insert a new word into the text the whole email disappeared. It had taken me hours to compose and it will take me hours to rewrite the whole thing. I have complained about this problem before. PLEASE FIX THIS BUG IN YOUR SYSTEM!!! AND PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO RETRIEVE THE LOST EMAIL!!!! I AM FURIOUS!

I use an iMac desktop computer. I access outlook.com via Google Chrome. I have a recurring problem with draft emails disappearing. Last week I spent two or three hours carefully drafting a quite lengthy email. I then saved it to my 'Drafts' folder while waiting for one final piece of information to add to it. When I was ready to finalise the draft, I opened it from the 'Drafts' folder. I then forgot to click on the 'Edit' icon (a small icon of a pencil on the top right of the email). I placed the cursor over the line in the email that I wanted to edit, but as soon as I typed one letter the whole email disappeared. I now have to completely re-compose this long and complicated email. This is absolutely infuriating. It has happened to me several times before. Why on earth does this happen? If I forget to click on the 'Edit' icon before starting to edit a draft email, surely some kind of reminder or warning sign should appear, reminding me to click on 'Edit' before I start editing. Or at least the draft email should stay there until I figure out that I need to click on 'Edit'. Alternatively, or as well, why can't the 'disappeared' draft email appear in the 'Deleted' folder? As far as I can tell, there is no way on earth to retrieve these disappeared drafts. I am feeling really angry about this. Please, PLEASE, can you fix this stupid 'bug' in the Outlook system????
