You recently changed the default behavior of marking an email as ‘read’ in the inbox, without notice or option to select the traditional behavior. How can a user focused development team do this to its customers? If you worked at my company you’d be forced to roll back this change, our users would not accept this without their input and an option to select their preference.
How can your team be so out of touch with its customer base?

I received the response below to my inquiry about the change in behavior of the inbox regarding marking mail read only after selecting another email.
>Thank you for contacting Outlook Mobile Support! This is now the normal behavior in the >app. It no longer automatically marks and email as rea dunless you move to the next email >in the list.
If you’re customer focused, how is it that you take away a feature I’ve relied on for several years without notice, no option to retain the functionality and without my input?
This is the rudest thing your team has done.
