Yeah, not sure how this has so few votes either, maybe not enough people use OWA and are aware such functionality could be available and how useful it is.
I find myself with both Outlook and OWA both open because I need functionality from both; inefficient; they need feature parity. The other great feature in OWA is the Move Message feature with a text box wher eyou can type the first few characters of a folder name and hit enter. How this is still be missing from Outlook Desktop is beyond me. Please upvote the feature: https://outlook.uservoice.com/forums/322590-outlook-for-windows-desktop-application/suggestions/40492447--move-to

It works great in OWA. Just what I need. Hopefully will be integrated into Outlook 2016 soon too.

What is needed is the Move To functionality in OWA. Start typing in the first characters of a folder and either hit enter when the top folder matches where you want to move the message to.

First, I want to thank everyone for using the product and sharing with us your feedback.

This is great feedback and we are discussing the need to provide the basic filtering function for Search. We will update once a decision is made.

In the mean time, I’d like to share a temporary solution to ease your pain. It’s a bit more technical so not everyone is going to be comfortable with it. I apologize for that in advance. You can add “isread:no” (without the quotes) after the search term (separate your search term and isread:no with a space) which will filter the search results to show only unread emails.

Thank you for helping us make Outlook.com better!

I would like to see filing simply implemented the same as online. start typing a folder name and hit enter. Brilliant.
