There is usually no need to reveal the identity of all other people who also receive an email, while courtesy, privacy and security would be better served by usually omitting such details. Would you usually have printed a list of addresses of other recipients on a physical letter? Then why do it with email?

I'm a former Inbox/Gmail user, looking for key features I'm used to.

As such, I'd like to be able to focus searches with search operators. For example: "in:accounts from:@rumblefish.com" to find all emails from @rumblefish.com in the folder "accounts".

Now that Inbox has shut down, I'm looking for an app that can replicate its bundles. It would be especially wonderful if Outlook could somehow import the filter settings from my Gmail account.

Lots of email does not require immediate attention, and many users make use of filtering options to sort such email out for that reason. Some may be recurring updates about bills paid, some may be newsletters, some may be news alerts. It would be good if such emails filtered into selected folders by services such as Gmail, could have their notifications muted.

I suggest that in the folder list users can tap on a bell icon next to a folder to quiet any further notifications for new emails in that folder.
