Yes I was confused as to why the reminder email that prompts a customer to cancel is unable to attend - didn't provide a link to do that. This encourages incorrect behaviour of cancelling gin calendar and this not being communicate into Bookings / to staff.

Yes an issue for education where we want to book a staff resource (fine based on their availability) but they also need a room available. Either we need the option that each service is only bookable once at any one time (the room becomes the service and exclusive use is assumed) or availability calendars cross-referenced for resources. The same would apply for equipment in a car garage or beauticians, you may have a number of staff that can change tyres / leg wax but only one ramp or waxing bed.

Linked to this or possibly separate, in an education setting we are looking at booking of 1:1 time with a tutor. All tutors offer the same services e.g. 30min 1:1 but location of service will depend on staff selected i.e. they use their office. Our work around is to add staff room to their name field, but this is not flexible / correct use.

Agreed, the fact that the appointments sent to staff and customer calendar are not connected, i.e. separately issues from Bookings, there is a need to connect these so that the same appointment is issued to both, or feed changes back to bookings. Habit is a risk that staff and customers will manage their appointment via their calendar as with usual practice.

    Hello all,

While this request is being reviewed for future consideration please try this workaround solution:

Change the select available fields in bottom-left to All Appointments Fields
Select the “Start” field on the left and Click Start → on the right.
Select the “End” field on the left and Click End → on the right.
    Click OK
    • Click on Filter…
    Click on the “Advanced Tab”
Click on the Field Drop Down – All Mails Field – “Message Class”
