I'm only 30 with perfect vision and spent two hours looking up online directions and tweaking the settings so I could actually read emails better and tell whether something is read or not at a casual glance. But there doesn't seem to be *anything* I can do about the microscopic icons to indicate that I've replied or forwarded an email. Do they not notice users squinting when they focus group these designs?

I have perfect eyesight and a 19" monitor and find Outlook 2016 almost unusable. I'm going to have to start categorizing Read/Replied/Fwd email because the icons are too tiny. Even flagged email barely stand outs. I've spent over an hour tweaking formatting so that I can actually tell the difference between read and unread email. And I still can't find any setting that actually works to increase the font of read mail so that I can read the subjects in the mailbox without squinting.
