Hi everyone. We are working to bring Pin to Outlook for Windows. Pin is now available in the Insider ring (formerly Insider Fast) for folks willing to give it a try. – David from the product team.

I completed the form (posted A YEAR AGO!) to help microsoft see how I would use the pin option.
In reading the form it looked as though the option to pin emails was already enabled, but it isn't in the desktop version. How is this so difficult for them to understand?? we would like it in the desktop version please.
Not everyone works from outside of an office, and It isn't even enabled on my android version either so either way to suggest that it is available is ridiculous.
Please add this to the desktop version of OUtlook (and I DON'T mean the web version - the actual desktop version that normal people use).

I too would love this to be a feature in Outlook.
I have a recurring item in my calendar which reminds me to do a set of tasks every time.
It would be great if I could have a tick box to say I've done the task (and how about a date and time it was ticked, to make it super awesome!?).
I know I could use Microsoft To Do, or to set up a recurring task reminder, but this would be fantastic because then other people might be able to see that I've done the tasks too when they view my calendar.

I am about to send an email to my boss which I know he will read, but will forget to action.
I can't send him a task as that is presumptuous, so it would be great to have a reminder that pops up if the email hasn't been responded to (so if he has replied it won't pop up, but if he hasn't then it would) at a time and date I choose.
