Same here, I used to be able to quickly change the scope I was searching, to just be the folder and not the entire mailbox for example.

I do this frequently so all your change has done has increased the number of mouse clicks I have to do every single time I search. Before I could do it directly next to where I typed my search term. Now I have to achieve this simple thing, whereas before I only had to click twice.

Besides which the new location looks awful and is another step to increasing the cluttered look of the aging Outlook Interface.

Thanks for quote literally ruining the Outlook search experience for me with this change.

Keep it in the title bar if you have to (even though it looks awful there) but please add back the ability to change the search scope with a one click drop-down box next to where I am typing my search term.

AWFUL CHANGE and I AM FINDING IT HARD TO LOCATE ANYONE THAT DOESN'T AGREE.

Gobsmacked that so many people can request such a basic feature so often and you simply ignore or worse seem unable to implement it.

I just had a problem setting signature in Outlook where the signature button freezes outlook. So I thought no problem, I will set it in Office 365 and sync it back..... then I discover.... wah, what no signature sync between O365 and Outlook 2016. What a GIP... come on Microsoft, this is such basic stuff.
