Thanks for your feedback – this is something that we are working on and will be available shortly in the new outlook.com UI. (https://blogs.office.com/2015/05/21/new-ways-to-get-more-done-in-outlook-com/?linkId=14413035) Stay tuned.
Make it possible to link contacts in calendar and tasks.
Thanks for the detailed feedback and comments on this. Like you’ve noted we, as a company, have put work into tasks and task management before and it is an area we continue to give thought to as there is still improvement to make. I will pass this feedback and the comments on to the right folks for more consideration. If I can share anything substantive back, I will. Thanks again for the feedback and engagement.
A good task tool works everywhere: on your phone, on your tablet, on your laptop - off-line and online. It can handle dates (not too much hard deadlines please), priorities, sequence and what is very important: the combination of these 3. See that you can indicate that the priority is not still set. Use tags, a few levels and a smart list of filters. The reason that my windows phone stays nearly unused is that I can't find a task tool for it that fit my needs.
