In the preview version of o365, it was opening in separate tabs but it seems like that feature has been removed...probably because it was hated by so many people. I actually *liked* having my calendar automatically open in a separate tab. I wish there were an option to bring this feature back.

In Outlook 2016 for Windows (or Outlook for Mac if you set up a keyboard shortcut), you can type CTRL-Shift-1 to move an email message to a favorite folder.

I'd love to have the same thing in Outlook O365 on the web.

80% of my emails go to just a handful of people. Unfortunately, when I create a new email, I have to work really hard to find the people I want to send to.

I wish I had the ability to create a recipients favorites list so that those favorites pop up for me to choose from whenever I create a new email.

At present, you can’t take an email that’s been flagged as clutter/other and move it to Focused. I wish I could do that on the phone.

BTW, someone from the outlook mobile team deleted this suggestion previously saying that this is already possible in the current version of the app. It is NOT. I do not mean that I want to turn off the Focused Inbox feature. Focused Inbox is *awesome*. But sometimes it flags messages incorrectly. I want the ability to take a message and move it to Focused and vice versa just like I can with Outlook for Desktop and the o365 web interface.

I wish I could move an email from Clutter to Focused when I’m on iOS.

TL;DR: give me an option to NOT automatically mark messages as read...especially on iPad.

I use the unread status of messages as an indication of whether I've taken care of whatever is described in that message. Put another way, it's the Done / Not Done indicator on my workflow.

Problem: The iOS Outlook app automatically marks messages as Read when you enter it.

This works ok for reading on iPhone because you usually can't see the mailbox list view and a message at the same time. BUT! This is HUGE annoyance on iPad because you can't simply flip through your emails to get a feel for the contents without also losing track of which emails you've truly handled.

Sure, I can manually mark the message as Unread but that's super annoying.

I'd much rather have an option that has the message default to Unread until I manually set it to Read. This is especially needed when in the iPad mode where you see the message list and the message contents simultaneously.

One of the pinned folders that would be helpful is Clutter. That's a special folder in O365 and yet it's buried in the folder chooser.

90% of my emails and meeting invitations go to just 3 or 4 people. When I click the To: field on an email or calendar entry, I'd like to see these email addresses at the top of the dialog automatically so that I don't have to type them again and again and again.

Either predict these people based on my activity or (better yet) let me specify favorite contacts in the app.

FYI, one of the contacts I send emails to ALL THE TIME is my own email address. I'm constantly sending email reminders to myself. Just having my own email at the top of the To: entry (or having a note to self button) would be so AWESOME!

I 99% disagree with this. Clutter is *FANTASTIC*! But...I wish there was a way to say "never mark this sender as Clutter". Clutter is great most of the time but there are a handful of cases where it just doesn't seem to learn properly. Clicking "mark as not clutter" just doesn't seem to work reliably.

Right now when the app recognizes the location field on an appointment as an address, it displays it as a link that takes you to Apple Maps. I don't want to use Apple maps. It would be helpful to be able to copy the link text from the calendar entry location so that I can paste it into google maps.

Better yet, give me an option in Settings to change my default map provider so that the link opens directly in google maps.
