Voted- but it might also be desirable to have other options for the privacy screen, other than all black, so that it is less obvious and therefore attracts less attention if you do want a private screen.

This was the first issue I had when switching from Lotus Notes. it seems like such a fundamental thing that start with I couldn't believe that it wasn't available in Outlook.

How is this (currently) top of the list and not even Under Review, let alone planned, started or finished?

I know that some of the requests made are quite complicated and/or probably take a lot of time to implement ...but this one is a no-brainer. Does anyone at MS actually use Outlook themselves? How can this be missing?

As a minimum the ability to set a time and an optional title or name for it.
As an example, if you already have an all day meeting in your calendar, but break at 10:30 for 20 minutes and return to your desk to catch up on emails. It would be good to be able to set a simple alarm to pop up at eg 10:45 as a reminder. Something like a Task is a workaround but we don't need a start and finish time, or location etc. Just set a time for a reminder to pop up.Anonymous supported this idea ·
As a work around you could add it to the signature. But to further develop your idea the signature could be linked to a field in the contacts, so that as well as the salutation, the sign off etc is also appropriate.
