Adding my voice here, though I typically use the Outlook PC app. Still want this ability, though! Even if only to be able to link to my own email threads in my Planner / OneNote apps.

Would be great if the generated link opened the user's default app.

I'd also like this, also primarily for task tracking.

I use OneNote and Planner extensively, so being able to add a link to an email conversation would enable me to stop using my Inbox as my To Do list quite so much.

Saving an email and attaching is cumbersome, doesn't actually link back to the original thread, and is quickly outdated if there are new messages.

On the other hand, I would NOT want the link to give access to whoever has the link by default -- that seems like a significant security risk to me. The typical security options around links in OneDrive / SharePoint / O365 would be great, though!

Ideally the URL would use whatever the default email client is, whether that be the Outlook application or Outlook.com, etc.

Being able to run all rules server-side would be very helpful!

What is it about certain types of rules that make them client-only? An explanation would be appreciated!

    Hello all,

While this request is being reviewed for future consideration please try this workaround solution:

    • Click on the Deleted Items Folder
    • Click on View tab on the command bar
    • Choose “Change View – Manage View” command on the command bar
    • Click “New” in the right to create a new
    • Name the view “Calendar”
    • Pick the Day/Week/Month “type of view”
    • Click OK. Now you should get dialog that lets you customize the view.
    • Now click on Columns –
Change the select available fields in bottom-left to All Appointments Fields
Select the “Start” field on the left and Click Start → on the right.
Select the “End” field on the left and Click End → on the right.
    Click OK
    • Click on Filter…
    Click on the “Advanced Tab”
Click on the Field Drop Down – All Mails Field – “Message Class”
    You…

On the other hand, I very much prefer to have categories apply to all messages in a thread automatically.

I use folders for state/action tracking, and use categories for project/task type association.

If I needed to assign categories to all messages in a thread every time a new message arrived, that'd be a much bigger pain for me.

Perhaps make this a configurable option?

It is very frustrating every time I encounter a window that doesn't allow expansion.

Not having ability to format font in email composition is unbelievable.
