Mobile swipe actions are present in all other folders, but were weirdly omitted for Outlook Groups.

The desktop thumbs up icon is missing in Groups on mobile.

Both desktop and mobile are missing the basic "Mark all as read" button.

All three of these things must be resolved to unify the user experience between folders and Groups, lowering our users' frustration with the weird separation of their mail using Groups.

Do not merge this idea as completed with basic swipe actions: This does not work and is not implemented on Android and iOS in the specific context of Outlook Groups.

I object to my suggestion being merged here. The previous post had nothing to do with Android specific notifications, or the stylistic issues noted in this thread.

I want to be able to get notifications only on emails that truly matter. I may only want emails where I'm on the To line, or it may be time to freak out if I'm emailed through subpoenas@contoso.com. I want wholly personalizable notification rules, by from/to/subj/importance/folder/etc.

Far too much makes it past the Focused Inbox filter or bypasses it entirely to make that the only option.

Let me decide and help.you learn what matters to me, as I can with Gmail and other smarter email systems. Simple all folders vs focused inbox only negates the utility of all of my Outlook rules that help me prioritize my work on your web and desktop experience.

Especially how Gmail prioritizes notifications by real importance, not labels/folders.

Mobile and folders don’t mix: Way too slow, clicking through folder after folder.

With my old BlackBerry or my separate label-heavy/far smarter Gmail account, it is trivially easy to see all or all unread messages in one view. Why is it so hard here? Even just mimicking defaul search folders from desktop outlook would largely fix this.
