    I'm a big fan of multiple reminders. For events in the distance future I typically set three reminders. One to finalize travel arrangements 2-3 months out. A second 2-3 weeks out to confirm arrangements are set and there are no event modifications, then one day before for final preparations. I'm trying to move from G-Suite calendar to fully office 365, but this is a deal-breaker until resolved. It's to easy to accidently dismiss a reminder in the flurry of the day and then completely miss the event. I consider it like a disaster recovery plan. You don't go without them in business, and my calendar is my personal business process.
