Very much agree! I have also encountered this problem recently. There is no way to delete these folders. They will be synced to the iPhone list. It seems very cumbersome, and after several days I have not found a solution!

I logged into my outlook account on the ios "mail" app. After logging into outlook for desktop office the other day, my iPhone mailing list showed a folder named "Sync Problem" and three sub-folders named "Conflict", "Local Failure" and "Server Failure" (probably a translation error because I use Chinese). I don't want these folders to appear on my iPhone mailing list, but I haven't found a way to delete or hide them. I hope to be able to provide me with a solution.
And I find that this issue was raised a long time ago and has not been successfully addressed.
    Thank you.
