When navigating to a folder, there should be a place to type a filter whereby typing the folder would instantly remove any folders that don't match the filter, allowing us much quicker access to the folder we want to view.

When moving or copying emails to a folder, there should be a place to type a filter whereby all folders not matching the filter would be removed.

the place to type a filter would resemble the search bar currently used for finding content, but in the navigation pane and available in the move/copy email dialog.

Outlook should allow the ability to type in the name of the folder next to the search inbox so that you can filter the list immeadiately. In other words, while you type, non-applicable folders disappear from the navigation bar. Or, another filter should be created, so all you have to do is type, and you can find a folder quickly without having to go down a long list.

also, when moving email using the move/copy command, the filter allowing you to type the folder should be implemented as well. This would make finding folders and moving emails so much more effecient.

All these years later, we have new icons and different thems...but something this crucial still lacking. No wonder Outlook is losing its marketshare to innovation like gmail and task managers like todoist. Seriously...have there been any REAL user enhancements in 15 years? Maybe a few...but definitely not many to the average user.
