    I agree. This feature is essential if I am ever going to be persuaded to use outlook. Currently I use another mail app specifically because it allows collapseable folders

    I Absolutely agree that it should be p[ossible to have all folders copllapsed by default. My company creates shared email folders for each customer account. We have hundreds of customers folders, each with a set of sandard sub-folders. We use outlook on our laptops, with no problem, but can't use the ipad version as all the folders are expanded, meaning it can take forever scrolling through the expanded folders.

    I agree - all good email programs allow you to collapse threads, folders, etc. The option should be there for having everything collapsed by default or open by default.
