Agree with comments below! Junk seemed to finally be tapering off for awhile, but lately it is ramping up like crazy again! All the spammers, scammers, psychics, pornographers, etc,. that were gone for awhile are coming back in droves daily! You know these obvious junk-mailers, so why not stop them? Also,.....under review for a year now? Really? You obviously have no intention of controlling these people, which is a shame that you let them try to scam users when you can stop them from getting to our mailboxes. Other servers already do that very well!!! Shame on you!!!

In just over 24 hours, I got over 260 junk emails - many phishing and **** garbage! How many times do we all have to report this? This forum still says "under review" since August 26th? This is DECEMBER, Microsoft! This is terrible! Like others, I must scroll through this trash everyday, as some legit mails are wrongly sent there, while garbage still manages to get in my inbox no matter what I do. Please, please fix this!

The onslaught of spam just never ends! I get about 100 spams a day, but must scroll through all of them to find the few legit emails that are wrongly put in there, in spite of marking them repeatedly as "not junk". The volume of spam is terrible, but the content is even worse! More and more disgusting pornographic spams are allowed in daily. Seriously, why is this let in, especially with the "F" word right in the title? This cannot be used as a family email service anymore at all. This is shameful! Fix this mess!!!

Under review still??? Not only do I get over a hundred spams per day, now I get daily spams from "Jesus Christ" and the "F" word, as well. Seriously.....is no one trying to fix this? It gets worse by the week. I LOVE my Yahoo email. Get usually zero spams per month. And,..I recently got a message from Microsoft that my account may be compromised and to change my password. HMMM...might that be related to all this garbage in our email folders and those bogus subscriptions?? You are just letting these spammers have their way by allowing this to keep happening!

Never ends! In past six hours, 104 spams have come to junk folder! Same old trash that has been marked as phishing or tried to block over and over and over.... Still "under review"???

As usual. well over 100 spams in less than 24 hours. Had to sort through all of it to locate four legit emails that I had marked as "not junk" repeatedly before. Read a comment here a few days ago where a user was told by MS to mark all this junk as PHISHING and that would help down the road with identifying these and eventually phasing them out. We'll see. But, it is worth a try, although in the past anything I marked as phishing just kept coming back under slightly different addresses. At this point, I will try anything to cut down on all of this trash.

Cannot believe we have to keep posting about this - hundreds of complaints on here - but the problem never ends! Still getting 100-200 spams per day in junk folder. ( And, NO - just keeping them mostly out of the inbox is NOT good enough!)

Some are so sleazy - if you describe them in these forums, the moderator will block out the words with ****. If they are that offensive, why are you not keeping them out of our mail???

Others are so obviously phishing, but repeatedly marking them as such, still does not keep them from coming back day after day!

Why is this not fixed yet? I am a longtime user, but no longer feel this email service is safe or secure. Have not added any new contacts to it lately, but instead use my alternate email account instead, where I get literally one or ZERO spams per month.

This is the best that MS can do????

Agree with everyone on this forum and have complained numerous times. In less than one day, I already had 99 junk emails, which I have to search through every single day, as Outlook lets legit mail in there sometimes. I am SO SICK of having to everyday see these same titles for *******, male body parts, and shady loan offers. I never, - NEVER- have visited any sites like this! When will this flood of garbage stop? By contrast, when I open Yahoo - my other longtime email - I am met with ZERO spams, which is the case 99.9% of the time. MS can fix this, if Yahoo and Gmail can, so why do they choose not to?

I agree! The amount of spam is getting worse again - dozens and dozens per day and nothing works to get rid of them. Tried blocking, reporting as phishing, tried to get rid of the ridiculous "subscriptions" that Outlook allows, created rules, etc...NOTHING works! I really even hate opening this email account each day and having to deal with this. I also agree with the other poster that much of this spam is really disgusting and inappropriate. Why is that allowed??? I use my Yahoo email account each day, as well, and NEVER have this kind of problem. Get nearly zero spam and NONE of this smutty garbage. It is possible for Outlook to fix this, but they just won't. WHY NOT???

FINALLY!!! That horrible subscription list has been cleared away by you! For months, HUNDREDS of unwanted and unsubscribed items kept being put in there. Today, there are only three items and they are REAL things that I actually do communicate with. PLEASE keep it this way! Do not allow any unwanted subscriptions back in there without our permission, please. Huge improvement!!!

I am able to mark spams as phishing without opening them, but why do these same sleazy and suspicious junk mails still just keep coming right back??? If they are phishing, which most spams probably are, why allow them to keep coming back day after day, after we repeatedly identify them as such? Can't block, can't unsubscribe, and that is not right!

Same issue! Why am I suddenly seeing spam emails in my inbox? These are not only obvious from the names, but ones that I have previously blocked and labeled as junk in the past! Why does this happen? Who in the Microsoft universe doesn't know that "nicole@5kfast loans" or "Hot Asian Ladies" or "Russian Babes" and similar titles are JUNK????

Having the same issue fro the past two days. I can no longer hover over junk emails to confirm where they are coming from. You can often tell, for example, whether an email is legit from my bank or Amazon by looking at the return address. Now I must open the junk mail itself and I do not like doing that. Wrote to Outlook. Tried first suggestion they gave about the reading pane options, but still not working. Anyone else having this problem recently?

Agree with comments below. Today I have already gotten 103 spams and junk and the day is not over! I also would NOT recommend that others I know use this service. The obvious phishing and disgusting spam titles should have a way to get rid of them and never have them come back, not even in the junk folder! Very, very poor spam filtering. This cannot be a safe option for email anymore.
