I don't understand why this is still a problem! I get the very unsettling sense that Microsoft no longer cares about issues like this now that everyone is subscribing to Office 365, so Microsoft no longer has to fix problems to encourage us to upgrade to the latest version. Extremely disappointed that years later this stupid issue still hasn't been fixed.

I'm amazed at how much wasted space there is in Outlook 2016 (365) for Mac. What was Microsoft thinking? 2011 was ideal!

Yes! I need to DECREASE the size of the folder pane (because Microsoft is wasting such an incredible amount of space there), but I also need to INCREASE the size of the default message font size, and I'd like to independently adjust the font for the list of e-mails too. This is impossible to do at this time. Microsoft's recent implementation of a global font size adjustment bar is inadequate and the lowest-common-denominator solution to the font size problems being reported.

It was easiest with Entourage 2008, then it became a little more difficult with Outlook 2011 (because if you accidentally de-selected the "Show this list when opening Outlook" checkbox, you had to jump through a bunch of unintuitive hoops to get it back), and now with Outlook 365 it's downright inconvenient and nearly unusable. Why would Microsoft make this feature so cumbersome to use? Just give users the EASY ability to switch between Profiles (Identities) when we want to! Microsoft's goal should be to make things better and EASIER, not worse and more difficult!

The Mac version of Outlook 365 Home cannot interpolate certain files sent from Outlook 2010/2016 as Rich Text. They arrive with winmail.dat attachments. If the e-mail had a PDF attachment, that's hidden in the winmail.dat file. However, the Windows versions of Outlook can receive these e-mails with the proper formatting and original attachments intact. So please make the Mac version able to do this too!
