outlook should be able to select from (use) the device's local contacts when creating a new email message. some people do not have shared contacts and it's such a simple feature to just be able to select from you contacts locally stored in your smartphone, when creating a new email message, instead of doing all these operations:
!!leaving the app, opening contacts, edit contact, copy email address, leave contacts, open outlook, open draft message, paste contact's email address...
just doesn't make any sense why outlook doesn't have this feature...

When creating a new email message, outlook doesn't automatically fill in (auto-complete) an existent email address from the phone contacts, when you type the first letters. it only fills in email addresses that have been previously used when created emails.
It is a painstaking procedure to then switch to the phone's contacts, look for the specific contact, copy it, switch back to email and paste it into the "To" field.
    Hope everyone agrees :)

when I delete an email and then want to quickly hit the "undo" popup button on the bottom, I am hitting the "create new message" by mistake, because it's almost in the same spot, and you have to do it almost instantly, before it disappears.
One solution would be moving it to the bottom button bar, where the other permanent buttons are, it's more than accessible enough.

I even found it useful many times, if I had the possibility to simply add a co tact (without inviting it) to a calendar meeting, in order to click call it easier when the reminder comes up.

Having the option to send an email message at a delayed time, by either selecting a time interval or a specific time. desktop outlook has this feature (select a time in Delay Delivery menu), but it could be done by adding a "Delayed" folder and setting the syncing of that folder at a specific time.

I have come across the need for this feature many times. There are many instances and reasons in business when sending an email at a certain chosen time is needed, due to business decisions or simply different global time, or just network issues when travelling.
