This feature is so much needed on the Mac. The alternative is always switching back and forth between mail tab and calendar tab. This is cumbersome and aggravated by a bug: I usually read mails in a search folder, only showing unread mails to me and excluding some folders. When I navigate back from the calendar to mail view, the search folder erroneously shows also mails from the excluded folders, spamming my mail list. I first need to select another folder and go back to the search folder for mails from the excluded folders be excluded again.

looking at all the duplicates, this is a very relevant proposal!

We need more specific examples of what you’re trying to accomplish from those who have voted for this feature. Are you trying to integrate with a third party application and just need CalDav support? Or are you trying to access your calendar hosted on a different service like iCloud or Yahoo? Please comment with your specific needs.
Thank you for your continued participation in making Outlook for Mac better.
