although this is probably read by a computer - not a human, I want to apologize about being upset with the block feature in the junk mail.

I misunderstood what it is supposed to do so expected not to have the same senders appear anymore in even in the junk mail box. I understood intuitively that when I choose "block" this sender will be blocked also from the junk mail box. If it's possible to block from the inboxes why does the same type of algorithm not prevent it from showing up in any box after I block it.?

I mentioned that I like to keep my junk mail box clear in case some "not junk" mail ends up there . if there is not much mail in that box I can spot it easily.

Also, since there are no more hardcopy manual for practically all applications etc... searching usually ends up in Forums, FAQ and such which I don't find very helpful and use up my precious limited "attention" time (not more the 24 hrs /day) on searching for answers, help, info .

I accidentally, by "trial and error" method bumped into the explanation about the purpose of "block"

    I don't usually get / or expect replies to these suggestions/feedback :-(

    sorry again
but I do hope you consider actually blocking the unwanted mails also from the junk box.

    THE BLOCKING JUNK MAIL OPTION

BLOCK by SENDER and/or by SUBJECT - this will save a lot of storage of zillions of email addresses that the senders keep changing. the subject and sender pretty much stay the same all the time.

what is so hard in doing this???

    thanks
