Make rules searchable. Some of my rules are not working. I need control over my parameters. This is not a want, this is a must. It is almost like Microsoft is holding us back... restricting us... this feature is a no brainer and should be there. Wasn't it there before? Sure it is more robust on the desktop version, but I use outlook.com because I want the rules applied there in stead of on only one of my computers.

Please, Outlook should be able to find a way to convincingly bounce unwanted emails. Also to use wild characters to set parameters to automatically do it. Even for mail already going into our junk mail folders.

It would be nice to use wildcards and be able to block Junk when they use formulaic sender addresses. There should also be a way to block addresses that use random characters or are from out of the country.

Merge duplicate appointments on calendar, especially birthdays. At least only show on instance and do not waste space showing two in month view. Please. (This happens when a there is a calendar entry and the birthday is in the contact info... or shared/multiple calendars have the same birthdays listed.

Feature Add: Please add a stat page to analyze junk mail. ie. a list of the user's alias's that the junk mail is received (to see which alias gets the most junk) and one that shows the DOMAINs that the junk mail are coming from how many. (perhaps also junk vs non junk from domains.) so we can set email from some domains to be deleted. This would be fairly simple: A form, some queries... a pull down... stuff Msft is great at.

    Inbox Rules:
    Hi,
When managing one's message rules for Outlook.com Mail, there should be a search function to find specific rules. Perhaps there are similar rules for duplicate senders? Perhaps you just want to find a specific rule to edit it. If there are several pages of rules, this could seriously put a dent in productivity. Plus, it seems to make sense.

Please consider adding a search feature or a more visible and robust way to edit and manage our incoming mail rules.

As an addon, I would like to also recommend a button to bring the rule to the first position.

    Thanks

Thanks for the detailed feedback and comments on this. Like you’ve noted we, as a company, have put work into tasks and task management before and it is an area we continue to give thought to as there is still improvement to make. I will pass this feedback and the comments on to the right folks for more consideration. If I can share anything substantive back, I will. Thanks again for the feedback and engagement.

When you do work out the task manager, please be sure it integrates with the Microsoft phone as well.
