I'd go further - I'd like all Outlook clients to adopt the features Mailbox (the app Dropbox bought but killed). This had • Multiple swipes (left/right + short/long) • scheduling aka postponing mail until useful • reordering an inbox using drag and drop to put the most important items to the user first.

@Robby Friedrichs - this misunderstand the request. Schedule in the iOS client isn't about when an email is sent, it's about snoozing a mail, out of sight, until it is actually relevant. For example bringing up the content for a call on the day of the call.

I'm amazed that there isn't a standard and consistent set of features for a folder.

One answer would be short and long swipes LIKE ACOMPLI HAD ORIGINALLY. Four gestures would make this so easy.

Ideally a native previewer for PDF inside Outlook without having to download third-party software. Option to use a rich third party on opening a PDF.

I hope this is just a location comment. Mac's useful for suggesting the kind of search to attach (from, subject, etc.) In Windows, you have to type subject:query. The mac implementation just to type a term and cursor down if a modifier is needed is much better.

This was configurable in System Preferences... but the latest update breaks this and has hard coded Ctrl+E.

Crazy that the same version has implemented other Windows key combinations but inconsistently. As Jonathan says, Archive on Windows is Backspace. Do that on a Mac and it Deletes although the published shortcut is Cmd+Backspace. How about:
    Archive - Backspace
    Delete - Cmd+Backspace
    Permanently Delete - Cmd+Shift-Backspace

BTW- you might want to up vote a similar request that has more votes... Search for "bring back readline keybindings".

I switch back between environments so I can understand the decision. Ironically, it's not implemented consistently. Backspace on Windows is Archive. On Mac that's Ctrl-E (very odd).

That being the case, a default set that can be configured is the right answer. Taking the Archive example, no other key combination is now allowed and it has over-written one I used happily for years.

I find it amazing that I can put someone's name in the search field. Left like that it will find all the mail a person was involved in. If I click their suggested email address no results are found.
    SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG

Also scheduling. This should take an email found, put it in the schedule folder and return it to the inbox at the set time.

I find it really annoying that mail from Outlook on iOS renders as Times New Roman on desktop Outlook. The formatting isn't being read as plain text (clearly it can't be if we can B/I/U) so why can't it use say Arial as a universal font?

Why? TouchID is already in the Settings.

3 actions are top of mind in mail. 1/ delete, 2/ archive, 3/schedule and occasionally 4/ move. 1 & 2 are non negotiable but block 3 which is what makes this app special and like my once beloved Mailbox. Many people I know want move. YOU USED TO HAVE 4 SWIPE ACTIONS. Please bring it back.
