    This is really painful. As said, colons are preceded by a space in French language https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colon_(punctuation)#Spacing

    This also means that typing any sentence ending with space-colon-newline (typically before a list) will insert a random emoji!

    Instead of disabling the shortcut, a solution would be to display the emoji panel only if a colon AND another character are typed. At least in French.

    This is all the more important that switching languages is a pain (find and open Editor menu, then browse the infinite list of language and variants to find yours, although you just need two or three of them).
