We’ll send you updates on this idea

Hey all, thanks for your feedback. We changed the pinned items to occupy less space so that you could still see new messages in your inbox even if you had a lot of pinned items.

We assumed that by pinning the items, you would know what the email was about so you’d need less information on the message.

We’ll track this item and figure out whether we want to change it in the future.

    Colin

Yes, this used to be "per folder" and not "global", and that was much better. Getting lots of user complaints about this.

Conversation view used to be a PER FOLDER setting, and now it is a GLOBAL setting. While it makes sense in the inbox, it makes no sense in the "sent" folder, for example, where you want to see all emails in order.

Man, I wish this would get some more traction!

I have the same experience, when I mark a favorite in a shared mailbox it appears for 1 second and then goes away.

Agree with others, when copying the entire email, it skips the "to" and "cc" fields! And you can't highlight individually either. It's just very difficult to copy email addresses for pasting or using in another email, etc.

To add to this, even if you hit "reply" as a workaround you can't even highlight or copy addresses that way. And when you are just viewing an email, if you try to highlight text in the email along with addresses, etc, it skips the addresses and only lets you copy the body and subject. We use this a ton for documenting approvals via email, etc. It's crazy that there's almost no way, other than a screenshot, for me to copy email addresses.

When users are trying to search, they can use the filter button to narrow down the search to a single folder, but not subfolders. Lots of users organize by subfolder so this is obviously a pain point.

I cannot find this setting anywhere. Our users have to get app password or register for MFA. Where are these settings that used to be here in the old outlook? https://portal.office.com/account/#home

Specifically the "account" settings. Mail settings are there, but account settings are no where to be found, so you can't get to this page.... https://portal.office.com/account
