When I open an existing event, I often want to edit something like add a recipient or a meeting agenda item. Having a read-only screen and needing to click Edit Event is an extra step that I wish didn't exist.

Instead, the way Google Calendar does it is great -- if you double click the event you see all the details, and you can edit any of the fields.

Yeah, the quick creation menu is missing an option to use an add-in I need for every meeting, so the quick menu is an annoying extra step and I just want to get the full options every time I double click.

I agree this is annoying, but you can change the settings. Click the ..., then Customize Toolbar, then from the right drag the jiggling Zoom icon to the top.

It's still a regression because it now takes two clicks to add a zoom meeting, but that's better than 3. I wish I could add the "Add Meeting" button straight to the taskbar.

On my team we frequently add each other to emails, and we always use first names.
Using @-mentions it seems weird to display the full name. I only want the first name to be displayed!
Maybe the default behavior would be different for other teams, so there could be a different otpion to just display the last name.
