Hyperlinks often contain information that I want to copy from them without following the link or copying the whole link destination.
If I hold Alt, I want to be able to select any text by mouse drag, even if it's a part of a link.
Please see how Chrome and Firefox implement that functionality. It's already standard for browsers.

I have a macro to archive email. I search in the Inbox folder for the messages I want to archive. I press the hotkey, and the messages are archived, but I don't see any visual feedback, as Outlook started searching in subfolders too.
Please make it easy to select if I want to search the current folder only, or the subfolders as well.

More reasons for the feature:
- I want to make sure that I entered the password correctly. It's possible to make the same typo twice, especially on a small phone with on-screen keyboard.
- It might be easier to remember the password by looking at it.
- If the password is shown, it should be possible to copy it to clipboard to save it in a password manager.
- Unlike stationary computers, Android devices are handheld, so the risk of somebody standing behind and watching can be mitigated easier.
- Having an option to see the password makes it possible not to enter the password twice. No reason to trust user's fingers more that user's eyes.
