This needs to be done in a thoughtful, flexible way. With two people its straight forward and easy. with large meetings the next time slot may be months away, but there are often a small number of busy people that are essential to the meeting and you want to find the next time slot where they are available. this is could be driven off searching only with the "required" attendees or ideally you'd be able to narrow it even more.

one idea would be click on an attendee to scroll the calendar to the next time they are available. cmd-click other attendees to scroll to the next time the selected set is available. arrows or a shortcut could scroll to the following time they are available.

you could also present data differently for larger meetings, e.g. if there are 10 invitees, there could be a view to list the next time all are avail, then the next times that various combos of 9 people are avail, and so on. in these cases, you'd want to show who was not avail at that time instead of listing the larger number of who is available (anytime when the list of who is available is the shorter list, is probably not a viable time and the list can end there, or sooner)

a control for whether to include slots where an invitee has a tentative conflict would be useful.
