I agree with this suggestion strongly. Another issue is when you switch from a dual-display mode to a single-display mode - the reminder window will be positioned 95% off-screen so you can only barely see the left 5% of the window and have to 'drag' it back into the window. If you can detect the screen-change event and then reposition the reminder window this would help. I do frequently miss reminders for events. Could there also be a way to have reminders trigger iOS notifications? Those come from the upper-right corner and are more visible.

I have mapped CMD-SHIFT-A to archive via an apple keyboard shortcut, but oddly it only works if I first manually right-click and select archive once. Then the shortcut works. I'm guessing this is because outlook is dynamically defining the menu shortcuts and the apple keyboard shortcut isn't available until I use it... It would be nice if Outlook natively supported an archive shortcut key!

Ideally it should go in the current 'direction' and not be hard-wired as 'newer next'.

If you use gmail as an example, they track the 'direction' of your reading by seeing if the last email you opened before the current was higher or lower on the list. Once you delete a message, it goes to the next message based on that direction flag.

This way you can sort the list in any way you want and go in any direction you want and the behavior is intuitive.
