In the OWA interface, when I select a message that has several other messages associated to it in a thread, the reading pane shows the most recent message at the top with ellipsis to "open" the message further and show the reply history to that specific message.

Below that message there are "cards" of the individual previous message history that I could choose to look at. If there are several messages associated the reading pane may have a card that says "Show X more messages".

This interface in OWA is absolutely brilliant and should be the same UX/UI in Outlook for Mac. Showing the full message (with the long history of all other associated messages "open" below the current message) in the reading pane is terribly inefficient.

If you want to find a specific message you need to look for it in the middle pane and then select it to show in the reading pane. Then you are back to square one with the whole darn message showing in the reading pane.

Please, please, reproduce the reading pane behaviour in Outlook for Mac like it is in OWA. OWA has it right. Full stop.

An option to turn this on/off would be, perhaps welcome, for some users that l don't understand the value of threaded messages and are "confused" but having to select a "different" message to see reply history. Those users are likely used to just scrolling through a single message to find that one email, when in fact it is a totally separate entity.

Sent Items ARE part of the conversation!?!? Why would you NOT want to see Send items in the Conversation View? To me this seems to be backwards logic with respect to a Conversation. Conversations are a thread of all communications received AND sent.
