Thank you for your feedback. We are working on the Advanced Search feature which will bring the ability to search in any folder, search by subject, and etc. next month. We appreciate your patience and will let you know as soon as the feature is available.R commented
The search functionality is a disaster. It is entirely inaccurate and incomplete. Please bring back the SEARCH DROP DOWN BOX FOR ADVANCED SEARCH that was in outlook.com version 1 and which is also found in Gmail and Yahoo.
Users are not interested in Microsoft' artificial intelligence for search or whatever you are doing because it never worked properly in outlook.com version 2, i.e. the current version of outlook.com.
Search function was so much better and was accurate in version 1. You have gone from an acceptable email system in outlook.com version 1 to an awful email system in outlook.com version 2 ( current version) to a horrible version in this beta version.
You are driving users away!!!!!!!!
Yahoo and Gmail still, to this day, let users use legacy versions. You, however, forced the change from version 1 to version 2 ( current version) and you have shown no regard for users who chose the first version and wanted to stay with it. Had version 2 been around when I was exploring email systems, I never would have signed up for outlook.com.

When creating a filter to send emails in my "Inbox" to a specific folder, it would be nice if after creating the rule, all emails affected by the rule were automatically moved to that folder. Now, it requires going back and manually selecting and moving the emails to the folder. Thank you.
