Changing the end-date sounded like a great work-around, but doing so also resets all previous occurrences to 'as scheduled.' Because I've moved or changed the length of many occurrences, this workaround still creates a deviation from an accurate calendar record.

Please add a feature to cancel future occurrences without changing past occurrences.

I saw the user comment in this forum that changing the end-date of a recurring event would solve this problem - great idea!! Wish I'd had it myself five years ago... Because it's not an obvious solution to so many of us, perhaps Microsoft could provide a more intuitive solution?

Needed! Would be great to have multiple 'busy' options that could let us prioritize obligations, e.g., I accept routine meetings so they show as busy, but it would be great if I could indicate that they're 'low-priority busy' so that folks would be aware they could superimpose high-priority meetings.

Alternatively, a flex-busy indicator could be for a task that must be done that day (so needs the 30 min, say), but could be done at any time. This latter I could do by categorizing the task with a color, but it would also be good if others could see that I considered that block malleable.

Select the “End” field on the left and Click End → on the right.
    Click OK
