Nine already does this and a lot more - why are you forcing us to use a 3rd party app, Microsoft?

Microsoft, do you realize that the app Nine has already solved Calendar and Contact sync in Android? How does an unofficial client support this basic functionality and the official app does not?

If Microsoft wants to participate in the Android ecosystem, this and better contacts integration is a very basic threshold to cross.

I have switched to Nine for my Outlook.com client. It supports contact editing, calendar editing, invites, and even assigning photos to Contacts that work properly, unlike the official app. It's weird that a 3rd party app supports basic functionality that the official app does not, but there it is.

Messages from Google users should reveal their Google account avatar/profile image. Currently, I only get a colored circle with initials in it - sort of pointless. Other 3rd party apps are able to do this, as Google has a well documented API for calling user profile images. Please implement this in Outlook - both in the mail view (for non contacts) and People view (for contacts added from an inbound message).
