When i get a new email a notification popup. which gives me two option from the notification menu. "archive" and "reply"
There should be a setting which let us change the option of archive to Delete so that i can directly delete the unwanted emails.

Right now i have to open the email from the notifications menu and then delete the email.

Gmail app on the other hand provide this setting. which lets us delete the email from the notification settings itself by providing the default action setting to archive or delete. we can choose this option by going to settings.

I've throughly tested this so please do not mark complete this query. its not an issue with this phone. I've tested this with multiple phones.

    I've contacted support as well.

I've created inbox rules to move emails to subfolders. i don't get notification on android for that. in user voice there are multiple threads which are marked as completed stating that this feature is already there but when i go to settings - notification - its for focused inbox notification and second option is for all emails". when i select all emails. i don't get notification for emails received in sub folders. only for inbox i get it. I've tested this multiple times and on multiple devices. this is not an issue with account or phone. this is an issue with the android app and how outlook is made. its a bug. I'm a pro user and i know how things works.

This notification setting is only for focused inbox and not for sub folders. I've throughly tested this. I've sub folders and have inbox rules which move incoming emails to those folders. i don't even get any notification even when email is recieved. i only get notified for the emails received in the main inbox
