Some contacts let you edit them.
Some make you go to a link to edit; sometimes the link works-sometimes the link does not work.
You can never be certain if your info is saved and you will find it later unless you use your PC. This the mobile app is unreliable
The search is still extremely poor and requires use of another app to allow contact functionality. Sometimes outlook cannot find contacts and you have to type exactly. It would be neat if search worked like the PC version. Search by a first or last name or partial names , search by company, search by words in the note section. Apple and Samsung on the phone as well as outlook on the PC do this. Every time I need to look something up I feel frustrated before I begin and sometimes I just use other apps since I know I won’t find it in the outlook app. If I did not have outlook at work I would never use this app. This is the app was good people might use on their phones and then decide they want on their PC.

Half the time the search does not find my contact and I have to try to tap on the very tiny letter to the right and then scroll for a long time to get to a contact I know.
If I put a note or reference info like “painter” when I don’t remember the painter’s exact name it should show up in a search in name, title, company and notes. It does Not as of now. I need to use other apps or my PC to find. This makes the use of the App very limited on my phone and makes me less able to function efficiently.
Often it not find my contact but find an email and act like that is the contact so back to scrolling and hoping I remember the exact name or I have to wait to use my PC or the native phone app to find it.
Then some contacts don’t allow editing and some do.

Yes to this . More options and ability to customize

Calendar reminders: allow customization of days and weeks not just defaults.
It defaults to 1 hour 1 day 1 week.
Allowing to choose or customize makes this feature useful in a daily functioning way.

Yes we need to be able to set reminders on emails from the phone app like we do on the PC.
Also we need to see the reminder list so we can open emails or calendar events. We need to review for details and leave in reminders or dismiss if done.

It is a needed feature to add to the app the ability to set a reminder for an email, the way the PC version allows.

Please do the suggested fixes from the June 28 comment. Contacts that are typed correctly don’t even show up. And we need it to show up for all names and notes

    1. Contact list needs to be searchable as contacts Only.
Search needs to check for a word or phrase anywhere in the:
    First or last name or
business name as well as in
    the description or note field.
-Like the native Apple app always did, for years and years, and does.-
The overall searchable icon is OK for some needs but leaves a large hole in the function ability of this app.
**Many contacts do not show up when searched even with the proper name. This makes the app worse than an old Rolodex scrolling through except old rolodex’s we manually put in cross reference cards.
Since the App does not update the native phone app any new contacts can only be found by copying and pasting them from the computer to a separate app. This is very inefficient and inconsistent as well as shows a complete lack of usability in the Outlook App. This is one of many BIG issues.
They say it is a free app but we pay for office 365 so it is not free. It is very bad and we are paying for very bad.

I can search in the app for a contact and it can’t find it.
I go into the iPhone contacts that are synced with outlook and it finds it right away.

The outlook app makes it impossible to do simple tasks Iike text, email or call someone

When a new contact is created in the App the “file as” is not there which makes it hard to find on the computer.

The search for a contact in the app should find all words in name or company and any in notes like the computer one does.

Again we need a separate search for email, calendar and contacts as well as the overall search.
Each can be useful in different situations.
Please fix soon I am tired of writing out suggestions that never improve

Search does not work right and no way to add the file by to match the PC version.. categories should match P.C. version. Some sync differently: you can view or edit or delet some which is good so you can view with out risk of accidentally changing but others you have to edit to view the whole contact.
Show the whole contact not just the number, notes and all.

Your contacts are so frustrating, everyday they are not helpful and try to make ones from emails vs finding the actual ones in contacts. This if the same domain sends various auto emails you can never find your contact especially if it does not have an email.

Contacts don’t sink with Apple phone properly. Apple native contacts are much better.

Some contacts are not editable on the phone App of Outlook.

Many contacts don’t show up on the search even if exact name and they should show if company, first, last names or or name appears in note section; the way Apple contacts work.

Contacts on the phone NEED to work the way they do in the computer with all features including category.

I don’t feel that things are safe and saved properly in the app which makes it very unusable.

There are many other issues where the App lacks major features but this one seriously hinders the ability to use the phone as an on the go computer device the way I did before 365.

The search is still horrible. It does find events now to some extent so thanks for adding that. But now finding contacts is worse.

Allow a section for contacts not just off the sort middle key.

Allow a general sort on the bottom like now but make it work better.

Add a sort to each section so if I know how only want contact or calendar or email it searches only in those.

Also how far you want the warming alert should be more flexible. It should allow you to type in number of weeks, days, hours and minutes in advance you prefer and have a better selection to choose for canned selections.

Yes agree this is a must to edit start and end days and all repeat functions like the regular PC version. So to edit on my phone I would have to open another app and copy and paste all info into it so I don’t loose anything. Then start a new even . Then paste back everything and setup all options. That is a major waste of time and very frustrating and easy to make an error. If you need to have another app to do something in your app it says it all... your app is lacking in basic functionality.
