When viewing an email notification from the shade we should be able to choose the 3 actions we are most likely to perform. Archive is currently one of the (forced) options... My guess is that archive is one of the least favored quick actions... How about "mark read"?
So simple, yet so difficult for all of the biggest software companies in the world to understand. Archive and reply, thanks for the two least used actions that come after glancing at an email. Delete and mark read are absolutely necessary as choices, and I would suggest adding a third customizable action (I would prefer reply).
Archive and reply? That's it? The notification shade is where a huge amount of action takes place these days, study Hub for a great example of what a robust email client offers with respect to actions from the notification. They offer 3 customizable actions, Reply, mark read, delete, etc.
Can't understand why so few, if any, email clients have such limited options when selecting an email. I want to glance at an email, select it and be able to "share" it. In this case, with tasks (aka "to-do"). Outlook desktop I drag an email to tasks and boom. It should be that easy in Outlook for Android.
