There was a feature request a couple of years ago that was exactly about this, but I can't find it.
I'd like to have the outlook calendar in my native device calendar, in my case Google Calendar, in the same manner the email app Nine does this.
The problem is that the outlook calendar is then divided from other accounts and smart watches only sync to the device calendar.
This shouldn't be such an issue for a company like Microsoft to do, especially because it means the user is still using the Outlook app, not some other application.
