  1. UI: Provide a better distinction between 'Busy' indication and window close

Looking at the upper left corner of a calendar entry in its own window, the red circles of ('Show As') 'Busy' and the red 'close' button of the window frame are very close to each other. I suggest changing the format of the 'Busy' indicator so that they do not resemble each other that closely.

  2. Small icons for individual folders from favourites

    Hi,
I have different folders in favourites and rules to move emails in in those folders. When I minimise the sidebar, i won't able to change folders, not knowing in which folders i have new emails. I would suggest to allow small icons of favourite folders when sidebar is minimised so that folders can be changed by clicking those small icons.

    Thanks,
    - Arun

  4. Allow edit "this and following events"

Add the ability to right-click on a calendar event > hover the pointer to Open then select "This Event" > in the Edit button, select "This and all following events”. I can do this on outlook.office365.com.

  5. Restore custom reminder values

Outlook used to have more options for specifying the reminder time before an event. The option for 10 minutes isn't there any more and that was the one I normally use.

  6. Use the Date column to show both the date and time for dates in the past

When looking through email, once you go past today, messages no longer show the time, just the date sent when in the list view. There's plenty of room, this was shown in the old UI, please add in the new UI

  7. Fix all day events on iCal

When making all-day events in an Outlook calendar and connecting it with my iCal account, the events read as two day events in iCal. This cannot be fixed from iCal, and they still appear as one-day events in Outlook. Not an app-breaking issue, but seriously annoying!

  8. Allow emails to show both attachments and smime certs

Currently signed emails only show the certificate attachment, not regular attachments, both in the inbox (no attachment icon) and in the email itself. The two need to be separated so they can both display.

  10. Out of Office feature add in- STOP incoming emails

As many of us only have one phone for work and personal, we cannot turn off our phones when we take time off for personal, vacation etc. Could you add a feature, that when we set our out of office that it stops all incoming emails unless we force it to fetch emails?

  11. Full screen mode doesn't keep the outlook view.

When the new outlook is in fullscreen mode, the layout of the app can spread to wide to see what's in a message. No horizontal scroll bars come up either. It becomes too big to fit on the screen.

  12. Let me disable the "What a productive day! You've accomplished a lot." graphic in the email list.

When I have no emails in the selected list, Outlook shows this cheerful graphic saying "What a productive day! You've accomplished a lot."

This is really annoying! Outlook has no idea how my day is actually going, and it feels just kinda dissonant. I'd like to be able to disable it.

  15. When accepting meeting invites, add back support for 'accept without response'

Old outlook had support for accept without response, decline without response to meeting invites. The new outlook needs to bring back those options

  16. Show replies in the email thread.

Replied emails should be visible and able to be read in the thread, not hidden. A badge showing that I replied doesn't do much good.

  17. Smart folder suggestions (move)

    Hi,

When moving an e-mail message to a folder, I would like Outlook to propose a list of folders matching that message. As you know, it is a simple machine learning classification problem (https://people.cs.umass.edu/~mccallum/papers/foldering-tr05.pdf).

    Thanks!

  18. Add multiple flags - categories for non outlook email accounts

It would be a great help to me if there were multiple flags, as this is how I prefer to sort emails. I have multiple folders setup now but this is definitely a more tedious and inefficient process.

    Thanks!

  20. I just want to tell you the new UI update is fantastic.

The UI update to Outlook is fantastic. The focus on simplicity and elegance is refreshing. Thanks. Microsoft is on a roll lately.
