  2. Prompt to save or delete a draft when closing out of the email

When closing out of an email draft in the new outlook, it automatically closes the window and saves the draft. It would be great if this could be changed to function like the old Outlook version, which would prompt a user to either save or delete the draft before it would continue to close.

  3. Make the my day tab open smaller at the side of the page.

It used to take up a small part of the right-hand side of the display, however now whenever it opens it takes up half of my display, shrinking the tab in the middle for reading emails. I never felt the need to move it around before, but now i have to drag it around to a usable size every time i open outlook. I have a screenshot if the devs want to see what I mean.

  4. Please support setting across multiple devices (signatures, fonts, defaults etc)

Many users have multiple devices and need to spend time copying their preferred settings and configurations between devices. Can you make it possible for the setting to sync either via O365 or iCloud?

  5. Support of MAC standard keyboard shortcuts

On MacOS you've standardised keystrokes when moving the cursor or editing text. It's very inefficient and distracting, that Outlook is not following this standard.

    One example:
System wide you can use Ctrl-a to jump to the beginning of a line
In Outlook it selects all text. -> Very problematic for people who can write fast.

  6. Notifications - time options

Put time limits on outlook iOS app notifications.

I want/need notifications during the day but not at all hours of day or night

  8. Avoid to truncate email address

When we open a contact file it truncates the email address when it is a long one.

  9. Show all the unread email when the unread filter is active

Currently the unread filter only show recent unread email, not all unread email.

  10. All Accounts (Unified) Inbox: Ability to use the Move menu options when multiple items are selected

This is specific to the All Accounts/Unified Inbox:

When a single mail item is selected, you are able to move it to a different folder from the right-click menu or from the toolbar. However, when multiple items are selected, the Move option in either menu is disabled. Limiting a user to only moving items one at a time, depletes the ability to be more efficient.

This limitation only occurs when in the All Accounts/Unified Inbox. If I'm in an individual account's inbox the Move menu items are available for multiple items.

Note: Selecting multiple times and dragging-and-dropping them to a…

  11. Make it Possible to Forward an Email in Drafts

Up until the most recent release, you could forward an email that was in the drafts folder. You could basically leave email templates in there and just forward as needed. Now, there is no way to forward a draft email.

    You have to fix this!

  12. Show Reply/Forward button and quick access to conversation view

Two useful features I believe to be missing in this build:
    • On the "You replied to/forwarded this message." bar, please add back the button that allowed quick access to that sent message.
    • Along the same lines, there used to be a quote bubble near the top of the reading pane that allowed quick access to the full thread of a conversation, for those of us who prefer to not use conversation mode. Would love to see that returned.

  13. Media Browser

Menu item: Window->Media Browser is broken. The old interface launches an applet that allows you to browse the "Libraries" as defined by the User account profile. That applet is OLD and barely functional. You cannot close the applet window after it launches It just sits and ignores the mouseDown event in the "close" button area. Time to ditch the Media Browser for something more current and Big Sur(ish) and dump the old Media Browser on Outlook.

  15. Add Auto-archive same as O365 for Windows

Add an Auto-archive functions same as O365 for Windows. Auto-archive can save to a local .pst file which can be mounted and searched same as O365 for Windows. Allow Auto-archive to trigger automatically on a schedule. And auto-archived items are "moved" and not just copied to the Auto-archive .pst keeping the Mailbox smaller.

  18. "Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder" checkbox

Please add this check box. I automatically bcc myself on all outgoing emails and I have to remember to go back and delete the items in my sent folder. This would save me a lot of time

  19. Keep sent emails in the Sent folder when moving conversation to folder

When moving conversation thread to a folder, keep the sent items in Sent

I view my messages with conversations and recently just upgraded to the new Outlook (Mac). When I move the conversation to a folder, it also moves messages from Sent to that folder. It's great to be able to view the whole thread from that folder but not having this in my Sent folder makes it impossible to find emails I've sent. This wasn't the case with the old version.

  20. have a reply and delete original message button. ALL IN ONE

90% OF THE THE time you hit reply and you want to then delete the email that you are replaying to. So have a new button called reply and delete. And have it then delete the message you are replying to.
