  1. Stop the development and modernise the existing outlook

It took me a second to see that this development is a waste of time. 3 of my 4 accounts could not be used with the new outlook and that being 3 different type of accounts:
    - google with an external email address
    - exchange account of one of my offices
    - imap account.
As it seems you have no employees with knowledge about the needs of your customers nor empathy for what could be the needs, it seems someone must teach you:
    1. imap and pop accounts are essential. Users on lower budget, large families, small enterprises have the…

  2. Ensure FIRST TIME use in New Outlook for Mac correctly fits the Screen.

The first time I chose the New Outlook format, the window size for New Outlook was completely wrong for my Mac Powerbook Screen. I am running macOS Catalina 10.15.7 on a mid-2012 Macbook Pro with 13" screen. The window was too large to fit, and even by closing the calendar window on the right, I was unable to resize the screen to fit, forcing me to switch back to the classic look (which fit!). Later, when I switched back a second time, the New Outlook windows was sized correctly, exactly the same size and position of the Classic version. I…

  4. improve usefulness of minimized sidebar and reduce padding when maximised

The sidebar takes up way too much screen real estate that could otherwise be occupied by useful information, but minimizing it doesn't provide power users with fast access to all of their inbox sub-folders. Please either provide the ability to add shortcuts to the minimized version so we can access more folders quickly and/or reduce the amount of indentation and padding so that the maximized sidebar takes up less screen real estate.

  5. Enable a way to mute certain accounts for notifications.

Would like the option to mute email, calendar and tasks notifications for specific accounts. Then when the account notification is re-enabled, I get all of the notifications for the time it was muted. I want personal items not to bother me while working and the other way around when doing personal items.

  6. Importing .eml / .msg files in new Outlook app (for MacOs)

When I import an eml or msg file in outlook app the content is illegible, which does not happen from the web app or in Outlook for Windows.
Is it possible to implement this in the new Outlook version?

  7. The performance are very low

    Hi there
I've switched to a new interface, but I've gone back based on lower performances.

    Please works on this.

  8. Maybe scaling options.

    BTW, thanks for the refresh.
So, some of the interfaces seem too large and not optimised for space, like the blue header and the top buttons. It seems alright when full screened but not when minimised. Especially for people who have multiple windows, it would be greatly appreciated to have scaling options, to configure to their taste. Maybe I am wrong, but we'll see.

  9. Allow custom category colours

The set of colors available for categories is too limited. Can it rather be a HTML Color Picker that allows like all HTML5 web colours.

  10. I suggest you to use non transparent background for new look

Its impossible to use the app on a dark desktop background due to incredibly low contrast for ui elements.

  11. group search results by folder

Hi, In "old" outlook when i search in my mailbox for unread, I can group the results by folder which is very helpful for processing my messages. I do not see a way to group search results by folder in new outlook unless i search in only one folder at a time. I have many rules which process unread messages into different folders.
    Thanks for your consideration!
    Kevin

  12. category

Stop randomly removing features. Categories never made it to the toolbar like it did in windows, but now you've completely removed it. Not even something that can be added via customization? What's the end goal here? Is it to make Outlook for Mac go away completely? Just not sure why you'd spend developer hours removing things that are already there, but you do, and you keep doing it.

  13. Code with native language, as the new Outlook looks like an HTML app, very slowly

The new Outlook runs very slowly, the animations are ugly, very heavy. The app looks pretty, but it looks like it is done in HTML, without using the graphical capabilities of the platform.

  14. Maintain compatibility

My two main accounts are not compatible with Outlook, for reasons I really cannot be bothered to investigate. Stop changing for change's sake, make a product that works and stick with it.

  15. I suggest you buy yourselves a case on champagne.

The UI refresh is awesome (the old UI was garbage to be fair). Within moments of using it, I was ready to abandon Apple Mail. I don't think I've even been so happy with an upgrade.

  17. Fix redraw/refresh issue after changing views via sidebar

Fix redraw/refresh of main screen when changing to Calendar or another view and then back to main Mail screen. Screen loses rounded corners and background file behind calendar in sidebar and mail list view.

I have screenshots available of before and after of how it appears.

  18. Bring back keyboard shortcut for moving items to folders🙌

In the old Outlook you could use shift+command+M to bring up a panel of folders when you want to move items. That does not work in this (i an all other ways) more beautiful and efficient version

  19. Set UI language independent of OS

I would be great if one could set the language of the Outlook UI independent of the system language of the OS.

  20. Please investigate GPU usage during scrolling in the new Outlook for Mac

There seems to be rather heavy load and GPU usage, especially when scrolling the inbox, when using the new Outlook for Mac. I see GPU spikes on the integrated Intel UHD 630 to 100%. The OS never forces the dGPU into usage though, only the iGPU.
