Add back support for any POP Account
As of the June 8, 2020 release you only support Microsoft and Google mail accounts. Seriously? Please add back support for any standard POP account.
Tengo una cuenta POP y no funciona nada, cuando se podrá usar Outlook con cuentas POP??

Impossibilità ad utilizzare la funzionalità exchange per accedere alla cartella condivisa aziendale
Still under review since June?? how long does it take to make a simple decision to make a piece of office software compatible.
I tried the new Outlook and had to go back to the Old Outlook because it didn't support shared calendars and shared emails. I manage multiple email accounts for our team (my email, the general office email, etc.). I lost access to multiple accounts. Even when I went back to the old, I didn't have access, and my permissions to schedule appointments on behalf of other people on shared calendars was broken. I schedule my boss's appointments, and I can't even see her calendar appointments anymore. We have tried deleting and re-adding me. I lost permissions to schedule things to our General calendar. This is significantly impacting my job and my team.
Come on let's get this protocol added back in. This seems a little silly to exclude such a simple email protocol.
esto ha sido un desastre. He tenido que migrar mi correo y configuración y perdí muchos emails y contactos
Required support for POP Account in the new build of the New Outlook.
What a silly thought to remove POP and IMAP support!!!
So please keep supporting this both!!! otherwise we need to delete Outlook and use MAC mail!
it's insane to remove the support of pop account, did you remember that we PAY outlook as an email client?

You've released a version of Outlook *for the Mac* that can't receive @me.com mail? Woo-wee what a classic Microsoft move! Love it. How are you guys still around in 2020? "Microsoft - 45 years of unrelenting customer indifference" :)
Absolutely ridiculous! Let's update the software but remove everything that was useful about it.

Microsoft call this an upgrade? Not being able to access thousands of archived, old POP or stored on my computer emails? This is terrible.
I use 5 different email addresses currently on my Outlook. Without full support for all of them (includes various business and work emails), I will no longer be able to use Outlook. This exclusion is sad as I spend a large amount of time on Outlook utilizing its many functions and using it for easy organization of my many email addresses.
Well if I can’t access my iMAP and POP emails Outlook would become useless to me!

I use outlook for my other POP accounts because I like the look and feel of outlook and it enables me to have all my email in one platform which is awesome. However, if the POP options is not available in the new Outlook I will need to start working a platform other than Outlook. Please have this option added to the new Outlook.
Is anyone from Microsoft reading these comments?

The fact that we're losing support for "On my computer folders” access on a Mac is really preventing me from switching over to the "New Outlook". Please bring this preference back. Thank you for your consideration. -DG
Very disappointing to have email software that can't actually access email accounts. And since the upgrade, the "classic" version of Outlook has stopped working properly. This is incredibly disruptive to a small business.
Agreed. This is really problematic. Really. I can't use pop or even my Exchange account through Ionos. I don't want to use Mac Mail at all so hoping they can fix this.

Really disappointed that there is no POP/IMAP.
I cant use the new outlook because of this.
Its a non-starter if you cannot provide the ability for IMAP accounts to be supported in the new Outlook
How could you consider launching the upgrade and promoting it so aggressively without this BASIC functionality to enable your users to benefit?
Is this another way to force people to buy a Microsoft 365 email?
I am sure you understand that Mac users have high expectations based on Apple's fanatical focus on customer experience. You failed to improve your image as treating us as second class.
Its a terrible move that has the opposite effect you are looking for. Now I will search for alternatives to Outlook.
