Add back support for any IMAP Account
As of the June 8, 2020 release you only support Microsoft and Google mail accounts. Seriously? Please add back support for any standard IMAP account. This change makes this Mac version pretty much useless if you don't have one of those mail accounts.
what a shameful decision to exclude IMAP from this new version! The usual Sillicon Valley greed, once they have grabbed you by the ba...s they change the rules and you are stuck!!
I need Imap
Please add support for IMAP accounts. If don't, I will uninstall Outlook, sorry.

Just one more small business voice for adding back support for IMAP and POP accounts. While I have gmail and outlook accounts, my business account is neither and changing that is out of the question. If Feb 2021 comes and goes without IMAP support then I won't be using outlook after that.
I agree that the update is useless without support to our existing mail formats being POP, please do not ruin a good package
Please add back support for any standard IMAP account. This change makes this Mac version worthless if you don't have one of those mail accounts

Agreed! The only way to get iCloud calendar and contacts is with "New Outlook" but I can't get IMAP unless I'm using old outlook. It makes Outlook totally useless.

Agreed. iMap is not a dead protocol by any means. The inability to support this very basic component of email makes me wonder about the development process overall. What else is missing?
no puedo configurar mis cuentas de correo POP e IMAP!!!
I pay for Office for my staff and myself and expect a professional product. We have many clients with IMAP and some even with POP accounts which we have to access.
Microsoft should not have released this "new" version if it is a broken tool.
Not supporting IMAP or POP is clearly a strategical decision to force MAC users using gmail & O365. And you will see that in february there wont be IMAP support, again.
We need Shared Mailboxes in Outlook!

I am shocked that I cannot use my work-account IMAP anymore in the new outlook!!!!
The Outlook roadmap was just updated. For many months, IMAP support has been promised for this December. It's now changed to February 2021.
Microsoft has no credibility with me anymore. Zero. How a software giant like Microsoft can't handle IMAP, one of the oldest and most used internet protocols, is frankly terrifying.
Kids in their basement making their own email app to sell for $5 on the app store have IMAP support. Just saying.
I've had my hotmail/outlook account for 20+ years, and have used outlook to manage my business emails in one set of inboxes. PLEASE REINSTATE support for IMAP accounts in new outlook.

It any progress in this, I cannot lose years of emails and an account that have been with my the last 15 years
Please give me a timeline for adding any IMAP account without I will not port to the new version.

I very much look forward for the New Outlook supporting POP/IMAP servers.
I love the new interface but I do need to use also an IMAP account.
Please, do everything possible to expedite the process to support also IMAP servers!!!
Please add back support for any standard IMAP account.
Otherwise I will need to switch to another email application.
I do like the new interface but it is useless not being able to support other mail accounts
