Add back support for any IMAP Account
As of the June 8, 2020 release you only support Microsoft and Google mail accounts. Seriously? Please add back support for any standard IMAP account. This change makes this Mac version pretty much useless if you don't have one of those mail accounts.

New Outlook for mac unusable for me without POP or IMAP support. Noticed that they are "working on it" as of June 10 last year in the comment above. How long is it going to take?

Hi there.
Please stop Outlook from sending reminders to try the new version while it is so broken.
It is just an irritating reminder that it was not sorted out before release knowing full well what the consequences would be.
Thanks.

No IMAP/pop support makes the new Outlook unusable. Makes me wonder what I'm paying for. Last post from MS was July of 2020????

I agree 100% with the need to add support for iCloud and Google calendars AND the need to add support for IMAP. The fact that Outlook for Mac doesn't support #1 and only old Outlook supports #2 is a BIG reason why I would be using Thunderbird to read my school email account if I could.
Sincerely,

This could all be solved if APPLE designed a worthwhile mail app that was able to create a proper boot tree with subfolders 4 layers deep. As it is now, Outlook, no matter any OLD version flaws, is far and above Apple Mail. In fact I can run both simultaneously and AM does not import folders from OL in any consistent manner. With it's billions, I fail to understand the lack of interest from Apple's to take this on.

Wow! After all the upgrades and updates I recently made I can't use the latest version of Outlook because it doesn't support my IMAP Comcast account. This is not a small matter as you know.

I have the New Outlook for mac on my Mac Mini and can use my IMAP accounts without a problem. However I have the same version of New Outlook on my MacBook Pro and my IMAP account is not supported. What is going on?!

When I tried out New Outlook only some iCloud emails seemed to sync with only some of the folders. I have found that it is possible to sync all your IMAP folders by moving emails to and from one folder to another forcing them to sync with your server and eventually download the missing emails.
Having done that they seem to all stay in place. New emails don't appear in the inbox automatically but show up when you select it and can then be moved to a specific folder where they stay.
It clearly isn't operating as it should and cannot be trusted.

Hi, I am using Outlook for Mac. My two company accounts that run via IMAP will not be migrated. The new version is therefore useless for me. You could have saved yourself the development work if IMAP is not supported. My provider (1&1/Ionos) is very surprised. Thx.
